The Stig is Top Gear's 'tame racing driver' reckoned to possess mysterious and possibly supernatural powers. A Stig-ism is an introduction of The Stig that starts with the words 'Some say...', followed by an outlandish or outrageous claim, often tied to current affair or contemporaneous events. See if you can make some up, have fun with it, & post them here. Here's one of mine to kick it off:

Some say.....the soles of his feet are coated with the same rubber F1 option tires are made of and that it's now easier for him to go through airport metal detectors because all of the titanium & magnesium bits in his body have been replaced with carbon fiber....all we know is he's called The Stig.
